The Association of Seventh-Day Adventist Optometrists (ASDAO) and AMEN (Adventist Medical Evangelist Network) are collaborating again this year with our combined annual conventions.
Location: This year the convention will again be at the beautiful Sonesta Resort right on the beach in Hilton Head, SC!
Dates: ASDAO Convention: Wednesday, October 29 6pm (EDT) - Thursday, October 30 followed by
AMEN Convention: Thursday, October 30 - Sunday, November 2, 2025
Registration will start at 6pm (EDT) on Wed, Oct 29 and the meeting will start at 6:30pm (EDT).

Registration: There is no registration fee for ASDAO on Wednesday & Thursday, but please RSVP to [email protected] so we can plan on how many are coming. Meals: ALL meals are included during the AMEN convention, Thursday supper all the way through Sunday breakfast. (Meals on Wednesday and Thursday during the ASDAO are not included.)
Lodging: Guest rooms at the Sonesta Resort have been reserved in the block at a discounted rate of $189/night. Book rooms directly on the AMEN website.
Airport: The nearest airport is Hilton Head, SC (8 miles away) and Savannah, GA which is approximately 1 hr away. According to Google, airlines that now fly directly into Hilton Head include: American, Delta, United, JetBlue, Spirit, Southwest, and Frontier Airlines.
Communication: Please make sure you are added to the ASDAO WhatsApp group for convention room location announcements, etc. during the convention.
